Software description
Ossprobe is a detection tool for oss access. It is used to troubleshoot problems caused by network failures or basic parameter setting errors during the upload and download process. After the user executes the upload and download commands, ossprobe will prompt the possible cause of the error to help the user quickly find the error.
Main functions
Check whether the network environment is normal
Check whether the basic parameters are normal
Test basic upload and download speeds
Instructions for use
Open the terminal on linux&mac. In the pop-up terminal interface, enter the path of the tool, then fill in the relevant detection parameters and then execute it.
View report results
At the end of the command execution, a report file named logOssProbe20060102150405.txt (the number after logOssProbe is the formatted output of the current time) is generated. Possible causes of the error are printed on the command line. If the error message is not specific enough, users can view the report to troubleshoot the problem. If it still cannot be solved, you can also attach the test report to the work order.
console display
The main contents displayed on the console are:
If an × appears after executing the steps, it means it did not pass, otherwise it means it passed.
The result shows whether the entire upload and download was successful or failed. When successful, the file size and upload and download time will be given.
Modify the suggested item to prompt the cause of the error, or directly give modification suggestions.
If users are familiar with oss error codes, they can also troubleshoot through the detailed error information returned by oss.
The log information prompts the log name and log address to facilitate users to find specific logs.
Note: Not every error detection can prompt modification suggestions. For detections that do not prompt modification suggestions, please troubleshoot according to the error code prompts and combined with the oss error code ErrorCode.
log file
The log file is different from the console display mainly in that you can view the detailed network detection process. ping can view whether the specified network is normal, you can view whether the network of the specified EndPoint is normal, tracert can view the routing status of access to the EndPoint, and the last nslookup can view whether the DNS is normal.
