Function introduction
OpenPilot GCS is a ground control station and configuration application for the open source OpenPilot family of flight controls, telemetry modems and autopilot boards.
The application is used for firmware upload, configuration, control and telemetry monitoring. The application supports all available OpenPilot boards.
OpenPilot GCS runs on Windows, Linux x32/x64 and MacOSX.
OpenPilot is truly open source software developed by a non-profit group of individual hardware and software developers.
Developed OpenPilot GCS using qt5.2 in c++. It uses QtGUI and QtQuick2 to implement a wide variety of GUI solutions for controlling, communicating, and configuring OpenPilot hardware. OpenPilot GCS has the same design as QtCreator and fully supports plugins.
OpenPilot GCS is developed, tested and built on Windows, Linux x32/x64 and MacOSX.
OpenPilot GCS uses several other open source libraries to provide the functionality required by ground control stations.
The latest development (not yet released) is a plugin that uses the Marble (http://marble.kde.org/) mapping library to implement flight path planning and GPS telemetry tracking capabilities. This plugin exploits some C++11 features for better design.
