Plug-in introduction:
Almost all other high-end 3D software (3ds Max, Maya,...) supports vertex normal editing, although c4d supports importing and rendering vertex normals, it lacks any interface or tools for creating or editing them. VNT aims to solve this problem by giving the artist complete control over vertex normals.
The Vertex Normal Tool easily adds new vertex-marked objects while preserving any phong corners and edge breaks. Easily update and manipulate vertex normals, perform all common tasks, flipping, averaging, normalizing, setting hard or soft edges, by selection or corner, etc... Built-in functions to easily handle common vertex normal tricks.
