Visual Studio Code installation steps
1. Download the compressed package of the official version of the VS editor Visual Studio Code from Huajun Software Park. After decompressing, double-click the exe file, and the icon interface will appear. Click OK
2. View the software license agreement, click I accept the agreement, and click Next
3. Set the software installation location. Click Browse to set it freely. It is recommended that you choose to install it on the D drive, and then click Next
4. Select the Start menu folder and click Next
5. Select other tasks, check Create desktop shortcut, and click Next
6. The software installation is ready, click Install

If you do not want usage data to be sent to Microsoft, you can set the telemetry.enableTelemetry user setting to false.
From File > Preferences > Settings (macOS: Code > Preferences > Settings), search for telemetry and uncheck the Telemetry: Enable telemetry setting. This will silence all future telemetry events from VS Code.
Important Note: VS Code provides the option to install Microsoft and third-party extensions. These extensions may be collecting their own usage data, which is not controlled by the telemetry.enableTelemetry setting.
