How to use microsoft usb speed up patch
1. Please download the upgrade patch corresponding to your system and install it x64-->Windows6.1-KB2581464-x64 (x64 is a 64-bit system) or x86-->Windows6.1-KB2581464-x86 (x86 is a 32-bit system)
2. Plug in your USB storage device
3. Add the INF device information of the storage device to the registry. Find the current USB 2.0 storage device in the disk drive in Device Manager, right-click it and select "Properties" to switch to the "Details" tab. In the attribute drop-down menu, select "Parent", and a string of characters will appear in the "Value" dialog box. The VID_xxxx&PID_xxxx characters are the unique INF device identifier of the USB 2.0 storage device, such as VID_090C&PID_1000, which is 090C1000.
4. Start running and enter regedit, open the registry editor, and click to expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSet Controlusbstor. There are several sub-projects under usbstor. Create a new item named "090C1000" and select it. Then right-click in the blank space on the right side of the window to create a new Dword value named "MaximumTransferLength", then double-click and change its value to 001fffe0 (the decimal value is 2097120, which is 2MB). After saving, restart the system.
