Select the printer driver of the corresponding model, taking GP-9035T as an example.
Select the communication port and select different ports according to different data connection lines.
Please select LPT for parallel port connection, and select the port according to whether the machine has expansion capabilities.
Please select COM for serial cable connection, and select the port according to whether the machine has expansion capabilities.
Please select USB for USB cable connection. Please note that because the USB interface is the system virtual printing port, you need to ensure that the printer prints during actual operation.
Connect the printer USB cable and turn on the printer power. If a computer is installed with multiple printers connected to USB cables, it may
Multiple USB ports appear, such as USB001, USB002...USB005...etc. If you cannot print after completing the driver installation, you need to
Make port adjustments.
If you use a network port, please choose to add a TCP/IP port, as follows:
Then select "Next" as shown in the image below.
Enter the printer’s “IP address” as shown in the figure below.
Then select "Next" as shown in the image below.
Then select "Customize"-"Settings", as shown in the figure below, confirm the following information and select "OK".
Then select "Next" as shown in the image below.
Finally, select "Finish" to successfully add the Ethernet communication port. And available for selection, as shown below:
If you select the serial port (COM port), you need to select the Port tab in the installed driver property page, and then "Configure Port".
Select serial communication "bits per second", "data bits", "parity check", "stop bits", "data flow control", etc. out
The factory default parameters are shown in the figure below. You can view the serial communication parameter information on the printer's power-on self-test page, such as "SERIAL
9600,N,8,1".
If there are multiple USB virtual ports in the driver port when using USB connection, as shown below:
Please follow these steps to try connecting the printer:
First, click "Print Test Page" in the "General" tab of the printer properties.
Then, check the status of the print task. If it is normal, the test page will disappear in a short time and the printer will print. If the client
If the port is incorrect, the status will definitely show the words "Error - Printing". As shown below:
Go back to the "Port" tab of the printer properties, check another USB virtual port, click "Apply" in the lower right corner, and wait.
After a while, the test page task will restart. If the port is corresponding, the task will disappear and the printer will print. If
If the error persists, repeat the above check operation until the printing task is completed.
After the above steps, the driver installation is completed.
If you cannot find the corresponding icon in Printers and Faxes after the installation is complete, use the Add Printer method:

Click to browse: Find the .inf format file in the driver folder, as follows:
Choose your printer model
Specify a printer name and print a test page:
Choose whether to share the printer:
The printer driver installation is complete, and the icon will appear in Printers and Faxes.
Detailed explanation on using the driver.
Set the correct paper parameters and printing method:
Open the printer's Properties window, as shown below.
Click "Printing Preferences"
"Print speed" and "print density" are adjusted according to the actual paper and consumables used, especially when using thermal transfer printing.
The paired use of degree and density has an impact on the printing effect.
In the "Size" column, enter the actual size of the paper or printing range. If it is label paper, it only indicates the size of the printable format.
Small but does not include backing paper.
Click on the "Advanced Settings" tab
Select according to the actual paper type used. If it is a label paper with spacing, select "Spacing". If it is a paper with a black mark on the back, select "Spacing".
Select "Black Mark", and select "Continuous" for continuous paper.
It is best to keep the default settings in the media setting column, because the printer will automatically detect what kind of media is used after it is turned on, and subsequent printing will be based on
Continue printing based on the current media. You can specify a method manually if needed.
In the option column, specify the setting of the paper retention position after the task is completed. "None" means that the paper will stop after the printing is completed without any operation.
"Peel Paper" will turn on the front paper presence sensor and will stop after each printout until the user intervenes to remove the printed label.
Then print the next piece. This setting is suitable for printers with peeling devices, such as GP-3150TN. Cuts, whole batches and partial cuts
GP printers with switching functions are not currently supported.
Click "Other"
Adjust the "Length" parameter in the "Gap/Black Mark" column according to the height of the gap between the label and the label on the label paper used by the user.
degree to adjust this parameter.
After completing the above settings, click OK to leave the preference settings, and click Print Test Page in the "General" tab of the driver properties to observe the above
Check the print quality after the above settings to determine whether it meets the paper material and size.
Adjustment of label content offset:
After setting the correct parameters above, printing may cause the label content to be offset because the label is too small or the label specifications are inaccurate.
And when the user has no room to move in the editing interface, he can make accurate corrections through the following parameters:
If the label is just above or below, select the printer "Properties" - "Printing Preferences" - "Advanced Settings".
There is a parameter setting for the label offset in the "Options" column. This parameter can be filled in with a positive value or a negative value. Out by machine
The paper direction is used as a reference, a positive value indicates a reverse offset, and a negative value indicates a forward offset. After adjustment, you can print multiple pages continuously to see if the offset is correct.
Indeed.
If the label content is not only skewed up and down, but also skewed left and right, you can select the printer "Properties"-"Print Preferences"--"-"High
Level Settings"--"---"Others", set the coordinate reference point offset. If only vertical is selected for the label direction, the coordinate origin is at the exit
The upper left corner of the paper direction. If the vertical direction is rotated 180 degrees, the origin is the lower right corner of the paper output direction. Similarly, if only the horizontal direction is selected, then
The origin is at the upper right corner of the paper output direction, and the horizontal 180 degrees is at the lower left corner of the paper output direction. This parameter only accepts positive values, so when adjusting
Please choose the direction and offset carefully, and try to use it in conjunction with the above label offset to achieve the desired effect.
There are areas on the label that you do not want to print:
When using customized label paper, users may have some parts, usually the peripheral area has printed content or does not want to print any content.
area, which can be achieved by setting the following parameters:
Select the printer "Properties" - "Printing Preferences" - "Options", there are non-printing area parameters, refer to the area size
Just fill in the corresponding parameters.
Adjustment of graphic effects:
Select printer "Properties" - "Printing Preferences" - "Dithering"
The printed graphics have different print quality when different types are selected. You can adjust it yourself according to the actual effect.
Barcode font and command font settings:
This setting is mainly used to convert the corresponding font into a barcode or direct command in the printer when the corresponding font is specified in the application.
Mode. Select the printer "Properties" - "Printing Preferences" - "Barcode Font"
You can create or change or delete defined barcode fonts. The parameters include barcode type, direction, size, identification code, width
