How to use:
1. First, determine the bad sector LBA. Western Digital’s WD PRO TOOLS is used here. It can be downloaded from all major websites. After setting the port, enter WD-ROYL and turn on the logical scan. The reason why this software is used is that it can determine the specific LBA of bad sectors, rather than giving a starting LBA of bad blocks like MHDD. Here is an explanation of the meaning of the three parameters. If you downloaded the Chinese version, there are some problems with the translation. The initial value is 256. What is displayed there is stop, which is actually block, which means block. The changed value determines one block during scanning. The number of sectors included, timeout block is the timeout time of this block, if this value is exceeded, the sectors in the block will be scanned independently. timeout sector is the timeout time of the sector. There is no need to change it here. This setting can sweep out all red and green blocks. First, remove the check mark in front of Remap and do a complete scan to determine the number of bad sectors.
2. The number of bad sectors is less than 4094 (tested to be the maximum number that can be added at one time), then copy the LOG just scanned, then add F in front of each line, replace "error" with ", A1 ", and finally get a txt document in the shape of "F1234, A1". These are the bad sector LBA values that need to be added to the table. Next, just enter these commands under the serial port level 2 to add them all. The serial port operation will not be repeated. There is a lot of information online.
3. After adding everything (I wrote a Linux script to add it myself, there should be line command serial port debugging software), enter V4 under T level, check the G table or use HDTUNE to check SMART. This is fine. You should see a remap count of 4094.

4. Then execute the P command under level A to transfer the G table to the P table. Since this process is a single sector conversion, if your number of bad sectors exceeds 10,000, do not use this step. The P table records will overflow, and Skip directly to the next step.
5. Execute the formatting commands m0, 6, 2, , , , , 22 at level t. If the fourth step has not been executed, execute m0.
6, , , , , ,22. 6. Use HDTUNE to recharge the mounted hard disk, otherwise it will be full of bad sectors. Then repeat until all bad sectors are added. It is recommended to start adding tables from the rear of the hard disk in blocks, so that after re-translation, the sectors before the first bad sectors added to the table do not need to be filled with zeros.
