MonitorClient monitoring client software is a PC monitoring software for P2P network cameras. By installing this software, you can view the images captured by the camera and set the captured images. The software supports simultaneous viewing of images captured by ten devices, and supports video image recording and playback. It is recommended for users in need to download and use it.

Function introduction:

The software is mainly divided into three functional areas. Pane area, real-time playback area, adding camera area and control functions.

Pane area: IPCAMERA—company logo and pane selection, as shown in Figure 3-5

Real-time playback area: Select the corresponding pane, the gray part of the software is the real-time playback area

Add camera area: As shown in Figure 3-5, you can select the corresponding function

Control ribbon:

1. PTZ direction control: adjust the up, down, left, and right rotation direction of the camera. The middle button is the camera centering button.

2. PTZ speed control: drag the control bar, and there are three speeds: slow, medium and fast from left to right.

3. Preset position setting: Click Set and Call to pop up 1-16 preset position selection points respectively.

4. Pan-tilt up and down, left and right cruise: You can set the camera screen to cruise up and down or left and right.

5.Zoom: Enlarge or reduce the real-time image of the camera in the selected pane (supported by some cameras)

6. Video flip up, down, left and right: You can set up and down mirroring and left and right flipping of the camera screen.

7. Night vision IR switch, IO output switch: IR sets the camera infrared light switch; IO sets the camera terminal function switch

8. Video definition adjustment: Adjust the camera bit rate. The higher the bit rate, the more storage will be occupied during recording, and the network will be required when connecting remotely.

The higher the bit rate, the camera's default bit rate is 768kbps; at the same resolution, the higher the bit rate, the clearer the video.

9. Brightness adjustment: adjust the brightness of the camera’s real-time picture

10. Contrast adjustment: adjust the contrast of the real-time image of the camera

11. Video resolution adjustment: Select the drop-down menu to set the camera resolution to 1280*720 or 640*480

12. Video mode adjustment: Select the drop-down menu to select the camera screen format. 50Hz is the PAL standard (applicable to mainland China), and 60Hz is the NTSC standard (applicable to Europe).

13. Frame rate adjustment: adjust the camera frame rate

Instructions for use:

local recording plan

Description:

1. The drop-down list can be used to set local recording plans at different times for a certain camera.

2. When the mouse moves to position 2, it changes to a + sign, indicating that all times are selected.

3. When the mouse moves to position 3, it changes to a downward arrow, indicating that the current time period of all weeks is selected.

4. When the mouse moves to position 4, it means that you can click on a certain time period of the current week.

5. When the mouse moves to position 5, it changes to a right arrow, indicating that all time periods of the current week are selected.

Click the OK button to set the local scheduled recording of the current camera.

If there are multiple cameras, click Apply to all cameras, that is, the recording schedule of all cameras will be the time period selected by the current camera; if you need to set the time period of each camera separately, please select the drop-down list of Description 1.

Note: The camera’s local planned recording status and description are as follows

1. Indicates that the screen is not being played in real time and there is a recording plan

2. It means that the picture is not played in real time and there is no recording plan.

3. Indicates that there is real-time playback and planned recording

4. Indicates that there is real-time playback of the screen and no recording is planned.
