Basic introduction
1. Higher bandwidth to support multiple devices connecting at the same time.
2. Better audio quality.
3. Lower power consumption.
In a multi-tasking environment (the host is connected to a keyboard, mouse, and headphones at the same time), if a mono headset is used, the bandwidth margin of Bluetooth is only 42%, which will not allow data to be retransmitted, otherwise it will affect the audio quality; if Stereo headphones are used, and the bandwidth margin is only 25%, which is not enough to support other applications, such as transferring files. With higher bandwidth, EDR can better support simultaneous connections of multiple devices and provide better audio quality. In the same multitasking environment as mentioned above, EDR's bandwidth margin is 62%, which is enough for other applications. In addition, when transferring files of the same size, EDR only takes 1/3 of the time before, thus saving power consumption. Of course, this requires your Bluetooth adapter to support EDR to achieve such an improvement.
Tips
1. Use the mobile phone’s Bluetooth program to search the computer and enter the same password;
2. If the Bluetooth synchronization function is added, after adding a new device to the Bluetooth of the mobile phone, "Refresh" the "Serial Port" option to "Synchronization Software" and save it. Of course, to implement the second function, you must first open the synchronization software on your computer, and then select the same port as the Bluetooth software on the "Connection Settings" option (mine is com4).
In this way, you can freely send and receive files, and select the Bluetooth synchronization command on your mobile phone to operate "wirelessly" on the computer. It's great!
