Detailed steps:
Step 1: Software and hardware preparation before making a USB boot disk
1. A USB flash drive (try to use a USB flash drive above 1G) 2. USB boot disk creation tool: U Master USB boot disk creation tool, please click the button below to download directly. 3. Ghost system files.
Step 2: Use U Master’s “U Disk Bootable Disk Creation Tool” to create a bootable USB disk
1. Try to close anti-virus software and security software before running the program (this software involves reading and writing operations on removable disks, and false positives from some anti-virus software will cause program errors!)
After the download is completed, double-click "U Master U Disk Startup Disk Creation Tool.exe" under Windows XP system to run;
For Windows Vista or Windows 7/8 systems, please right-click "U Master U Disk Startup Disk Creation Tool.exe" to run it as an administrator.
2. After inserting the U disk, click the "Create USB boot disk with one click" button. The program will prompt whether to continue. Make sure that the selected U disk has no important data and then start making:
[Please do not perform other operations during the production process to avoid failure in making the U disk boot disk. Please wait patiently during the production process. When the prompt that the production is completed, the production of the boot U disk will be completed. 】
Select the U disk you want to create and click "Create USB boot disk with one click"
A prompt box will pop up, prompting you to back up important data on the USB flash drive. If the USB flash drive has important data, you can back it up separately to avoid data loss. If it has been backed up, click "OK" to start creating the USB boot disk.
When making a USB boot disk, the original data of the U disk will be formatted.
After the production is completed, a prompt box will pop up.
The prepared boot disk contains the GHO folder, ISOS folder, my tools folder, simple installation tutorial, and U disk boot disk cloning tool.
Use the USB boot disk to install the system:
The GHOST system here takes the XP system as an example. GhostWIN7 also operates in the same way and will not be described in detail here.
1. Use the U Master U disk boot disk creation tool to make the U disk into a bootable U disk. 2. Plug the U disk into the computer, start the computer from the U disk, enter the U disk menu selection interface, and select [01], as shown in the figure:
3. Double-click to run the "One-Click Backup System Restore" tool, click "Browse", find the .gho file you just prepared, select the system partition to be installed, and click "Start", as shown in the figure:
4. In the prompt box, click the "Yes" button, and then the system installation will run automatically, as shown in the figure:
5. After the ghost system is installed, restart the computer to complete the subsequent system installation.
