Routers that support the UPNP function (general routers support this function) do not need to manage accounts and passwords, nor do they need to enter the router management interface. You can directly perform port mapping settings through this software.
After running the software, you can either automatically identify the local network IP and router IP by clicking the "Detect this machine" button, or you can fill them in manually. Click to execute the settings to take effect.
Things to note:
1) Routers that do not support UPNP or have the UPNP function turned off cannot be set through this software. You need to log in to the router management interface to manually set the port mapping.
2) Some routers will automatically recycle the port if there is no data communication for a certain period of time after setting the port mapping through the UPNP function. You can use the "scheduled refresh" function of this software to avoid the port being recycled.
3) The port mapping set through the UPNP function will be recycled after the router restarts. You need to use this software to set the UPNP port mapping again after the router restarts. You can also use the "scheduled refresh" function of this software to prevent ports from being recycled.
