Introduction to computer cross stitch software
Pcstitch 11 adopts a more modern user interface and adds a lot of material tools that users prefer! You can also change colors, change print styles, or delete individual back stitch lines by right-clicking anywhere on the line while in backstitch mode and using the pop-up menu. Thread palette changes can be applied to the entire pattern or only to selected areas. By turning off design grid elements that you don't need to see from the View menu, you can maximize the design grid area, greatly solving the problem of long working hours and low efficiency.
Computer cross stitch software functions
1. Docking panel
To dock a floating panel or move a panel that is docked to a different side, simply click and hold the left mouse button in the title bar of the panel you want to dock, and then start dragging. As you drag the panel, you'll see a set of images appear in the center and sides of the design area
In order to add a color to the palette, first make sure the Available Colors panel is open and visible. If not, you can open the Palette panel by right-clicking it and selecting Show Available Colors.
2. Replace color
Changing colors simply changes all the stitches in the pattern from one color to another. You can replace a color with a color already in the palette or a new color in the Available panel.
To replace a color with a color already in the palette, simply click and drag the color in the Palette panel and drop it over the color you want to replace in the palette. The color you cast will be removed from the palette and all stitches of that color will automatically change.
3. Delete palette colors
To remove a color from the palette, right-click the color in the palette panel and select Delete. If your pattern doesn't contain any stitches of that color, the color will simply disappear from your palette. If there are stitches, then you will be informed how many stitches will be removed and asked if you are sure you want to remove the color.

Computer cross stitch instructions
1. Create special stitches
To create a special stitch, use as many stitches and backstitches as possible, drawing stitches anywhere on the design grid. After drawing your stitches, switch to Selector mode to select and draw an edit box around the area you want to save as a professional stitch. Right-click the selected area and select Save as Custom Stitch from the pop-up menu that appears. You will be prompted to enter a name for the new stitch and the stitch will be added to your Professional Stitches panel.
Any white space around the outside of the selected area will be removed before creating the professional stitch. Additionally, if there are stitches of different colors in the selected area, the dedicated stitches will only contain one color (the current palette color) when used.
2. Create a new library
To create a new library, select Create New Library from the Enhanced Ribbon bar in PCStitch. You will be prompted for a name and description for the library, and a blank library will open in the Libraries panel. The library will be saved in the default library folder with the name you specify and the file extension .PLB.
3. Edit library mode objects
To change a library object, right-click the thumbnail in the Library panel and select Edit from the pop-up menu that appears. A new design grid window will open with the library object in it. Edit objects like any other mode, and when you save and close the window, the object will be saved back to the library it came from.
