Not only can devices come in different sizes, but they can also vary in resolution. The responsive web design you plan must accommodate multiple resolution versions of images rendered accordingly on each device. However, creating numerous different resolution versions of all images in a project can be a daunting task.
Extract in Dreamweaver simplifies this task to a great extent. Extracting from Photoshop in the 2015 version of Dreamweaver When compositing an image, you can also choose to extract different resolution versions of the image. Images in Photoshop are automatically resized to different predefined resolutions during the extraction process.
You can then call these images in JavaScript or media queries to display the images based on the device used to view them. For example, for high-density Retina display, you can use the 2X version of the image.

You can now edit the selector by simply clicking its name in the Element Display. You can submit your changes by clicking anywhere on the page.

“All” and “Current” modes
Currently, CSS Designer provides two different modes for viewing and editing CSS properties:
"All" mode: This mode will list all CSS, media queries and selectors in the current document. It is not sensitive to selections in Design or Live view.
This mode is the best choice if you want to create CSS, media queries and selectors.
Current mode: This mode lists the calculated styles for all selected elements in Design or Live view. at CCS File, if focus is on a selector, this mode displays the selector's properties.
This mode is best if you want to edit the properties of a selector associated with a selected element in the document.

Dreamweaver now displays code hints (similar to code view) in CSS Designer for setting new properties.

CSS Designer does not provide options with further associated operations such as managing fonts, color pickers and browsing.

Media queries in the CSS Designer panel are now color-coded to match visual media queries.
Green: Media queries containing max-width conditions

“Show Collection” option: The “Show Collection” checkbox in the Properties section is now selected by default when you first start Dreamweaver. In all subsequent Dreamweaver Any changes to this option (selected or deselected) will be retained across sessions.
Panel scrolls to display Add Property in the center: When you click the "+" in the Properties section, this section scrolls to display the Add Property row in the center of the panel. If the Properties section is too small, the Add Property row will appear at the bottom of the panel.
Background highlighting when adding new properties: When focus is on the "Add new property" text box, the row is highlighted in a gray background.
“+” and “-” button position changes: To increase visibility, move the “+” and “-” buttons in each pane of the CSS Designer panel from the far right to the far left.
Renaming the "Custom" category: The category name of the "Custom" attribute has been changed to "More".
Test server workflow changes
The test server workflow improvements in this release are designed to make it easy and seamless to edit documents using server-side code in Live View.
Changes in server settings
With Dreamweaver Unlike earlier versions of , you can now specify a specific server as a test server or a remote server, but not both. Checkboxes in the Server Settings user interface have been replaced with radio buttons to enforce server specifications.
If you import your site into Dreamweaver CC 2015, and specify a server as both a test server and a remote server, the system will create a duplicate server entry. Then, mark one as the remote server and the other as the test server.
Automatic push of dynamic files
Dreamweaver now automatically synchronizes dynamic documents to the test server when you open, create, or save changes to a dynamic document. Dreamweaver The "Update Test Server" or "Push Dependency Files" dialogs no longer appear for the test server workflow.

Business Catalyst Workflow Changes
The Business Catalyst extension has been discontinued and is no longer available for Dreamweaver CC version 2015 or later. Dreamweaver CC 2014.1.1 is the last version compatible with the Business Catalyst extension.

Other changes
The Insert panel has been reorganized, grouping all options under the Common, Layout, and Media categories into one more logical category - HTML.
The brief tutorial videos and links in the Help menu for launching these three categories have been removed. This option is also not available for users in non-English locales.
The options in the document bar drop-down menu at the bottom of the page have been cleaned up - only the "Orientation", "Full Screen" and "Edit Size" options are now available.
