Vaal Empire
The Vaal Empire, dating back 3,000 years, is the earliest human civilization in the Viklast continent. With the help of a mysterious technology called "Dru Gem", it has created countless breathtaking treasures, including the sorcerer, a terrifying profession dedicated to transforming human beings. The Gem Legion was invincible, and Qidas, who had obtained the Gem Legion, became increasingly domineering and could not bear the brutal rule of the emperor known as the "Monkey". An uprising called the Holy Revolution was launched within the empire.

The strongest gem army was lured into a deep valley by a trick by the Kurai people, and their commander, Jade Ax Lion Eye, died. The Imperial Desert Legion was wiped out on the yellow sand by the Maracas who were familiar with the natural weather and dispersed the team formation through sandstorms. The third legion fought a bloody battle with the Izumites and was outnumbered and destroyed.
Qidas, who lost the Gem Legion and the hearts of the people, was beheaded, and Wall became the new emperor of the empire. Wall decided to execute Makela, but Makela claimed that he could make a machine that could completely eliminate alien magic, so Wall let him go.
In 1336 of the Imperial Calendar, Makayla finally completed the machine. Outside the Temple of the Sun, he started the machine. No one knew what the result would be, because like the Vaal Empire, the newly born Eternal Empire was also silently destroyed.
The current continent of Viklast
Under the catastrophe caused by that mysterious machine, the prosperous continent of Viklast became a barren land. All human civilization disappeared, leaving only rampant monsters, corpses and countless ruins.
