Types of transportation contract templates
There are three types of road cargo transportation: general cargo, special cargo, and light foam cargo.
General cargo refers to cargo that has no special requirements for transportation, loading, unloading, and storage.
Special goods refer to goods that have special requirements for transportation, loading, unloading, and storage. Special cargo includes: large and bulky cargo, dangerous goods (goods that require special protection), valuable goods (goods that are expensive and the carrier must bear greater economic responsibility during transportation), and fresh goods.
Light foam cargo refers to cargo that weighs less than 333 kilograms per cubic meter.
Things to note about transportation contract template
Complete vehicle transportation: If the goods shipped by the shipper at one time are more than 3 tons (including 3 tons), or if the goods are less than three tons, but their nature, volume, and shape require transportation by a vehicle of more than 3 tons, they are all transported by complete vehicle.
Less-than-truckload transportation: If the shipper consigns less than 3 tons of goods at a time, it is less-than-truckload transportation. All types of dangerous, easily damaged, easily polluted and fresh goods will not be transported under less-than-truckload load, unless otherwise specified and conditions permit.
Special vehicle transportation: According to the requirements of the nature, volume or weight of the goods, transportation by large cars or trailers (with an approved load tonnage of 40 tons and above) as well as tank trucks, refrigerated trucks, insulated trucks and other vehicles is called special vehicle transportation.
Container transportation: a mode of transportation that uses containers as containers and is carried by special vehicles.
Chartered vehicle transportation: The transportation in which the vehicle is chartered to the shipper and the freight is calculated based on time or mileage is called chartered vehicle transportation.
