A basic introduction to five-stroke painting
The official version of Wubihua Input Method uses Wubi font to encode Chinese characters completely based on the characteristics of strokes and glyphs. It is a typical graphical code input method. All Chinese characters are composed of five basic strokes: horizontal, vertical, left, N (including dots), and fold. In the five-stroke input method, horizontal strokes correspond to the number 1, vertical strokes correspond to 2, left strokes correspond to 3, strokes (including dots) correspond to 4, and folds correspond to 5. Enter the corresponding numbers according to the order of Chinese character writing strokes, and the corresponding Chinese characters can be typed.
Introduction to Wubihua functions
1. A truly input method that can be mastered in 10 minutes. After becoming proficient, the speed can reach 60 words per minute, which is significantly higher than the handwriting speed!
2. This input method follows the standard five-stroke input rules. It is suitable for middle-aged and elderly people, those who are not very good at Mandarin, and those who are afraid of memorizing the root words. It divides Chinese characters into five types of strokes: horizontal, vertical, apostrophe, nip, and fold. Each character has a maximum of 5 digits and ends with a space key if it is less than 5 digits.
3. Five strokes of vertical and horizontal strokes: Positioned on the 5 WERTY keys, the 23456 numeric keys above can be used to quickly enter words (this version has given priority to high-frequency words). After users get used to it, they can only look at the screen and not the keyboard - that is, a "what you see is what you get" type of touch typing effect.
