NET call report: BoundsChecker can log method calls and returns in classes in the managed part of the application. This includes parameters and any return values. You can limit analysis to specific parts of your application to increase the usefulness of the information. This feature can provide valuable insights into how your hosted application operates.
Symbol server support: If a symbol server is included, BoundsChecker will automatically load and use symbols provided by a symbol server in your organization or by a third party (such as Microsoft). Symbol server configuration is located in the General Settings dialog box. If you are running integrated into Visual BoundsChecker in Studio .NET, BoundsChecker will automatically use the symbol server settings. Information about symbol server support appears in the online help under " General Settings" and "Symbol Path Dialog Box" topics.
Option to show leaks and errors only when source code is available: BoundsChecker can be customized to show errors only in modules for which source code is available. This feature can be used to automatically eliminate bugs in parts of your application that you are not interested in. This feature allows you to quickly troubleshoot errors that occur in system code, third-party DLLs, or modules provided by other parts of your organization. This option is located in the settings dialog under " under Modules and Files.
Redesigned COM call reporting: Module selection method based on user selection. The COM call reports that the configuration has been modified in which a log object method call is made in the selected module (DLL). This feature allows customers to quickly configure BoundsChecker to monitor only user-defined interfaces and methods.
BoundsChecker installation steps
1. Download the latest version of BoundsChecker installation package from Huajun Software Park. After unzipping, double-click the exe program to enter the installation wizard and click Next
2. Double-click the installer to enter the following license agreement interface, check the [I accept the agreement] option, and then proceed to the next step of installation.
3. Select the installation location and clickNext
