Introduction to Gantt charts
Gantt charts graphically represent the sequence and duration of a specific project through a list of activities and a time scale. A line graph, the horizontal axis represents time, the vertical axis represents the project, and the lines represent the planned and actual completion status during the period. It is convenient for managers to clarify the remaining tasks of the project and evaluate the progress of the work.
Gantt chart contains the following three meanings:

General Gantt Chart Tips
1. Double-click an edge of the cell to select the cell range
If you press the Shift key while double-clicking the cell border, select the area from this cell to the furthest blank cell or non-blank cell based on whether the adjacent cells in this direction are blank cells or non-blank cells.
2. Quickly select discontinuous cells
Press the key combination "Shift+F8" to activate the "Add Selected" mode. At this time, the word "Add" will be displayed in the status bar below the workbook. Then click on discontinuous cells or cell ranges. Select without holding down the Ctrl key.
3. Select cells based on conditions
Click the "Edit → Position" command, click the "Positioning Conditions" button in the "Positioning" dialog box that opens, and select the cell type to be selected in the "Positioning Conditions" dialog box according to the type of area you want to select. For example, "Constant", "Formula", etc. You can also check "Number", "Text" and other items at this time. After clicking the "OK" button, all cells that meet the conditions will be selected.
4. Copy or move cells
To copy or move cells from one location to another, the method is: select the source cell, click the "Cut" or "Copy" command in the "Edit" menu, select the target cell, and click "Edit" ” menu and select the “Paste” command, the source cell will be moved or copied to the target cell.
5. Completely delete cells in Excel
Want to completely delete a cell (including the cell's format and comments) from the worksheet? Just select the cell that needs to be deleted, and then press "Ctrl+ -", select the cell movement method in the pop-up dialog box, and the surrounding cells will move over to fill the space left after deletion.
