Gradient tool

The Gradient tool creates a gradual blend of multiple colors. Readers can choose from preset gradient fills or create their own. When filling with color, you can change the color from one color to another, or from light to dark, or from dark to light. Here's how to use the Gradient Tool: STEP 1: If you want to fill part of the image, select the area you want to fill. Otherwise, the gradient fill will be applied to the entire active layer. STEP 2: Select the Gradient Tool , and then select a gradient style in the options bar. STEP 3: Select a gradient type in the option bar: including "Linear Gradient", "Radial Gradient", "Angle Gradient", "Symmetric Gradient", and "Rhombus Gradient". STEP 4: Position the pointer in the image where you want to set the starting point of the gradient, then drag to define the end point.
