The Chinese version of Motorola GP338 frequency writing software is suitable for Motorola gp328Plus/gp338 explosion-proof walkie-talkies. It has a full Chinese interface and is more convenient to operate. If the GP328 walkie-talkie cannot read and write frequencies normally in the old version of the frequency writing software, you can try this version.

MOTOROLA GP338 writing frequency supports: UHF/VHF/LOW BAND/220/700, version number R06.10.12

Instructions for use

1. After installing the frequency writing software, run the frequency writing software. Note that when you run the frequency writing software for the first time, you will be prompted to select the COM port. Just select a free COM port.
2. Connect the frequency writer of the Motorola walkie-talkie to the 7-12V power supply, connect the COM plug to the COM port originally selected by the computer, connect the walkie-talkie port to the walkie-talkie that needs to read or write frequency, and turn on the power of the walkie-talkie.
3. As shown in Figure 1, click Read Device.... to start reading the frequency points in the walkie-talkie.
4. If the connection is successful, the interface shown in Figure 2 will appear. When the interface appears, click the mouse anywhere on the interface to continue reading the content. Or wait a moment and it will automatically continue to read the frequency points.
5. After reading is completed, operate as shown in Figure 3, and the interface as shown in Figure 4 will appear. Figure 4 shows the interface for rewriting frequency points. Among them, the sub-audio column: CSQ is carrier squelch (neither encrypted), TPL is analog sub-audio, and DPL is digital sub-audio. If there is no co-channel interference or the confidentiality of the call is not strong, generally choose CSQ. After writing the sending and receiving frequencies of each channel, click "close" in the lower left corner of the dialog box to close.
6. After writing the sending and receiving frequencies of each channel, click as shown in Figure 5, and the interface in Figure 6 will appear. The purpose of this dialog box is that if you wrote several channels in step 5, you should also add several channels here. This way the frequency you write will work. For example, if you write a total of 8 eight-channel frequency points, there should also be eight channels here, and each channel should correspond one to one, as shown in Figure 6. After the operation is completed, also click "close" in the lower left corner of the dialog box to close. Note: If you are just modifying the existing frequency points, you do not need to do this step and jump directly from frequency 5 to step 7.
7. In the last step of the operation, click 7 as shown in the picture, and the written frequency will be written into the intercom. After writing the point successfully, the walkie-talkie will automatically reset and issue the same prompt tone as when it was turned on.
8. If you want to copy the frequency between walkie-talkies, press the third step on the master unit to read out the frequency. Then connect the frequency writer to the walkie-talkie whose frequency needs to be copied, turn it on, and follow step seven to copy the frequency of the master unit into the handset. (The master machine and slave machine must be of the same model and frequency band.)
