Instructions for use

How does Youdao Dictionary translate the text on the picture?

1. Open "Youdao Dictionary", right-click the icon in the lower right corner of the desktop, and select the "Software Settings" option in the pop-up menu.

2. After entering the "Software Settings", select "Get Words and Delineate Words". In the "Get Words and Delineate Words" option, there is an option to "Enable OCR Powerful Word Retrieval". Click to download.

3. Wait for the OCR download to complete. After completion, check the extra "Turn on OCR powerful word extraction" so that you can translate the image into English.

4. Open a picture with English, put the mouse on the unknown word, wait for a while and you will see the result.
