HttpWatch

HttpWatch is a very powerful web page packet capture data analysis tool that supports common browsers such as Firefox and Firefox. HttpWatch will automatically analyze the demand/response communication between the website and the browser, and display the corresponding log records in the same interface. HttpWatch installation steps:

1. Download the HttpWatch software from this site, unzip it and double-click the .exe. An installation interface will appear. Click "next" to continue.

2. Read the HttpWatch installation agreement and click "i agree" to agree.

3. After selecting the installation location, click "install" to install.

4. HttpWatch is installed successfully. Click "finish" to complete and exit the installation interface.

How to use HttpWatch:

1. After starting HttpWatch, go to IE View - Browser Bar - HttpWatch, as shown in the figure

How does HttpWatch capture packets?

1. First open the IE browser. In IE8, you can see httpwatchprofessional directly in the view or in the view-browser bar. Click to open it.

2. After opening HttpWatch, a function display area will appear below. We first enter the URL and then click record to prepare for packet capture, and then press Enter or click Go to load URL, thus recording all links opened by the website.

3. Enter www.baidu.com as an example. Make sure to click record and press Enter to open the website. While the website is loading, all loading links will be displayed under HttpWatch.

4. Click clear to clear the data of the website just now, and then enter a new URL to test, such as: www.google.cn; then press Enter to test. A 404 error in the code of some websites does not affect the opening of the website. However, if the loading time of some websites is too long or a 404 or 303 or abort appears in the code, it will affect the opening of the website.

5. In the last step, we save the record and click save to save it to disk. After saving, it needs to be opened on a computer with the HttpWatch tool installed.
