How to use BOOTICE

​ ​ Tutorial on using the bootice tool to fix boot problems

​​ 1. First prepare a prepared U disk installation master U disk boot disk, and then connect the computer and the U disk boot disk. Restart the computer, press the startup shortcut key when the boot screen appears, select the USB disk to start, and then enter the USB disk installation master main menu interface. Then use the arrow keys to select "02. Start Windows_2003PE (old machine)" and press the Enter key.

​​ 2. After entering the PE system, click the "Start" button, and then select "Disk Management" - "Bootice Boot Sector Management".

3. In the bootice interface, first select "Target Disk", and then click "Master Boot Record (M)".

​ 4. In the pop-up window, first click "windowsNT5.x/6.xMBR", and then click the "Install/Configure" button.

5. Select the corresponding type in the pop-up window. (For win7, choose WindowsNT6.x, for WinXP, choose WindowsNT5.x)

​ ​ 6. Then the bootice main interface will be brought up, keep the target disk unchanged, this time click "Partition Boot Record (P)"

​​ 7. Then select the type you want to change in the pop-up window. For win7 users, select "bootmgr boot program". Winxp users select "NTLDR Bootloader" and click "Install/Configure" after selection.

​ 8. At this time, the "Boot File Rename" window will pop up. Do not modify the content inside, just click "OK".

​ 9. Through the above steps, you can use the bootice tool to complete the repair boot in the USB disk installation master PE system.
