We call this design tool NDD for short. NDD is just a simple IDE. If you are used to Visual Studio or Eclipse development environment, you will love NDD.

​ ​ First create a new custom page (flie menu-new), then select the control from the left toolbar and add it to the custom page. Each control has properties, and you can easily edit them to the state you need. When you want to save an edited custom page (for example, called Form1), NDD will create 2 files:

Form1.nsddef is an XML format file used to save your custom page. It includes all controls on the custom page and their property settings.

Form1.nsdinc It is a file in NSIS script format, which is the NSIS script of the custom page you edited. You can put this generated NSIS script into your own NSIS installation script. It is convenient for you to add it to your own installation script *.nsi.
