Metro Style Icon Studio installation steps

​ 1. Download the Metro Style Icon Studio official version installation package from Huajun Software Park. After unzipping, double-click the exe program to enter the installation wizard and click next

​​ 2. Please click to accept the software installation agreement.

3. The software is installed on the C drive by default. Click Browse to change it.

​​ 4. Prompt associated icon format, click next

5. The software is being installed, and you can use it after waiting for the installation explanation.

       Create a new icon

Use the New Icon dialog box to create a new icon. To open this dialog box, do one of the following:

​​Select File>New Icon.

        Press Ctrl+N.

​​Click the "New Icon" button on the toolbar.

​ ​ In the New Icon dialog box, you should select the desired icon size and color depth (Metro Style Icon Studio can be used to create and edit icons up to 3000x3000 pixels, but Windows 95 and 98 currently only supports icon sizes up to 127x127 pixels). An icon can contain multiple image formats, and you can add more later.

​​​A new icon can also be automatically created when each Metro style icon Studio starts. To enable this option, follow these steps:

​​Select Options from the View menu.

          Open the “General” tab.

Mark the icon checkbox in the "Create on startup" group.

If you want to disable the creation of icons every time the program starts, mark the Nothing checkbox in this group.

Change image format

You can change the current icon or cursor format by selecting "Convert Image Format..." from the Tools menu (or pressing Ctrl+F) and specifying the desired settings in the dialog box that appears.

            Adding new formats to images

To add a new image format to the current icon or cursor, do one of the following:

​​Select “New Image Format…” from the “Tools” menu

       Press Ctrl+I

​​Click the “New Image Format” button on the toolbar

and specify the required properties in the New Image Format dialog box that appears.

Delete image format

To remove the current image format from the icon or cursor, do one of the following:

Select to delete the image format. . . From the Tools menu

        Press Ctrl+D

Click the Remove Image Format button on the Tools palette.
