REDUCE

The latest version of REDUCE is a professional and powerful interactive algebraic calculation system. REDUCE official version software can be used to perform scalar, vector and matrix algebra through computers. Users only need to enter algebraic formulas to automatically calculate the results. REDUCE software introduction

The REDUCE computer algebra system was developed in the 1960s by Anthony C. Hearn started. Since then, many scientists from around the world have contributed to its development. REDUCE has a long and distinguished place in the history of computer algebra systems. Other systems that solve some of the same problems but sometimes have a quite different focus are Axiom, Derive, Macsyma (Maxima), Maple, Mathematica, and MuPAD.

REDUCE mainly runs on Portable Standard Lisp (PSL) or Codemist Standard Lisp (CSL), both are included in the SourceForge distribution. By modern standards, REDUCE is a surprisingly small and lean application that runs well on all major operating systems.

REDUCE installation steps

​ 1. Download the latest version of REDUCE installation package from Huajun Software Park, unzip it, and double-click the "exe" file

​ ​ 2. Enter the installation wizard, read the license agreement, click "I accept the agreement", and click Next

​ ​ 3. Click "Browse" to select the installation location. Generally, it defaults to C drive. It is recommended to install on D drive. Click Next.

​ ​ 4. Select the components you want to install and click Next

​​ 5. Click "Browse" to select the start menu folder and click Next

​​ 6. The software information is ready, click Install to install
