Photoshop’s text tool contains four tools, which are the horizontal text tool, the vertical text tool, the horizontal text mask tool, and the vertical text mask tool. The shortcut key for this tool is the letter T.

Enter text:
1. Select the text tool.
2. Click on the image where you want to input text, and a small "I" icon will appear. This is the baseline for inputting text.
3. Enter the required text, and the entered text will generate a new text layer.

2. Use the mouse to drag out the text box where you want to input text, and a small "I" icon will appear in the text box. This is the baseline for inputting text.

1. Select the text mask tool.

3. Enter the required text. Different from the text tool, the text mask tool obtains a selection with the shape of the text. It does not have the attributes of the text, and it does not generate an independent text layer like the text tool.

Create deformed fonts
The input and adjustment of text is similar to that in Word. You can understand by trying it yourself. Here we focus on creating text deformations:
Styles: including none, fan, lower arc, upper arc, arch, bulge, shell, corolla, flag, wave, fish, increase, apophyllite, expansion, extrusion and twist.
Horizontal and Vertical: Choose the direction of the bend.
Enter appropriate values after bending, horizontal twisting and vertical twisting to control the degree of bending.
