Recently, many friends have consulted the editor about how to boot and repair win10 uefi with bootice. Below, the editor will share with friends the method of booting and repairing win10 uefi with bootice. I hope it can help all my friends.
Here we use the Chinese cabbage boot disk to demonstrate:
First, plug the prepared bootable USB disk into the computer, start the computer and press F11 or F12, sometimes the Esc key (for Baidu's own computer model, it depends on the quick startup hotkey, usually F11 or F12). Select the USB disk starting with UEFI. Enter the system. Some computers do not display UEFI. Directly select the U disk to boot into the system. After booting, press the win key on the computer keyboard and click: BOOTICE.
Look at the picture and click on the 123 in order.
1.Select: BCD editing
2.Point: Other BCD files
3. Click "..." within the quotation marks to open
Find the ESP partition drive letter, there is an efi folder inside and click on it: efi>microsoft>boot>BCD, open BCD
Click on the interface below: Smart Edit.
It will be blank after clicking it, click: Add.
If you want to repair the startup, skip steps 5, 6, and 7 and start from step 8.
Select: Create a new Windows7/8/8.1 startup item
It depends on which Windows system you have installed. You can change the display name in the red box in the picture below. I am Windows 7, so I changed it to Windows 7, and then click: Save current system settings.
In the following interface, click: Start Disk and see the red box.
Select the hard drive where your system is located. Do not click Mine. Select whichever hard drive your system is on.
Then click: Start partition, select which drive letter your system is installed in. If you don’t know, just look at the drive letter size and check with the partition where your system is located. It is usually the C drive. My win7 is on the E drive. Don’t follow me. choice.
The picture below shows the interface after setting up. Click: Save current settings and close the window.
In the picture below, click: UEFI, then click: Modify startup sequence.
Generally, the above settings will be set automatically. If not, set them as shown below:
1. Click: Windows boot manager (this is the Windows startup item).
2. Boot partition: select the ESP drive letter.
3. Startup file: EFIMicrosoftBootbootmgfw.efi, if not, copy this path to red box 3.
4. Click: Save the current startup settings. It is best to check "Start this item next time".
At this point, the uefi Add Repair startup item has been set up. If it is a dual system, you need to add a startup item. Just follow the steps and add another one. The picture below is a screenshot of my Windows 7 and 10 dual system startup items.
Note: This tutorial is only suitable for UEFI boot method
The above is the bootice boot method shared by the editor to repair win10 uefi. Friends in need should come and take a look.
