Click "Start"→Accessories→Communication→HyperTerminal.
After clicking to enter "Hyper Terminal", as shown in the figure, the red box shows the place where you want to name the Hyper Terminal.

Just enter any number in "Phone Number", and in "Use when connecting" you need to select the corresponding COM port. Here we select the COM1 port, as shown in the figure below.
After filling in the corresponding content in the "Connect to" window, try the following, then click "OK" to enter the next view.
After entering the "COM1 Properties" window, as shown in the figure below, the main purpose is to set the port.

After setting all parameters in the previous view, click "OK" to enter the command line operation window of this HyperTerminal connection, which indicates that the HyperTerminal connection has been established, as shown in the following view.
After entering the command line operation window, click on any blank space in this window to ensure that the cursor is within this window, and then continue tapping to configure and operate the connected network device, as shown by the red arrow in the figure below. , is where you enter the network device username.
