Solution:
1. Open "Computer", copy and paste the Win7 system desktop path into the address bar, such as C:UsersAdministratorDesktop (change Administrator to your own login account name, the following operations are the same), and then press Enter;
2. After pressing Enter, we locate the desktop folder, right-click on the blank area, and then properties;
3. In Desktop, click the "Security" tab, switch to the Security tab, and click the Edit button, as shown below;
4. Then select the account name you logged in to, such as Administrator, set the "User Name" permission to "Full Control", and click the Apply option;
5. At this time, the system will automatically set the desktop permissions and subdirectory permissions to full control, and the fault will naturally be repaired.
The above is the solution to the problem that the Win7 desktop cannot create a new folder or modify the file name. Since this problem is caused by the login account not having write permissions to the Win7 desktop, the above steps can be used to solve the problem of the Win7 desktop cannot create a new folder. The problem of not being able to modify the file name is gone.
