Debian refers to a cooperative organization and its works dedicated to creating free operating systems. Since the Linux macro kernel is the main one among the many kernel branches of the Debian project, and most of the basic tools in the operating system created by Debian developers come from the GNU Project , so "Debian" often refers to Debian GNU/Linux. Unofficial kernel branches include Debian GNU/Hurd which only supports x86, Dyson which only supports amd64, etc. These unofficial branches have some serious problems and are not practical. For example, the Hurd microkernel is technically immature, while the basic functions of Dyson are still imperfect.
