University Level 4

CET-4, the abbreviation of College English Test Band 4, is a national teaching examination administered by the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education. The test is mainly targeted at undergraduates or graduate students who have completed College English Level 4 according to the education syllabus. Preparations for the College English CET-4 and CET-6 standardized tests began at the end of 1986 and were officially implemented in 1987. The purpose of the CET-4 test is to promote the implementation of the college English teaching syllabus, objectively and accurately measure the English ability of college students, and serve to improve the teaching quality of college English courses in my country.
