Flash, also known as Flash, is a standard for interactive vector graphics and Web animation launched by Macromedia and acquired by Adobe. Web designers use Flash to create beautiful, resizable navigation interfaces and other fancy effects. The predecessor of Flash is Future Splash of Future Wave Company, which is the world's first commercial two-dimensional vector animation software for designing and editing Flash documents. In November 1996, the American company Macromedia acquired Future Wave and renamed it Flash. It was later acquired by Adobe on December 3, 2005.
