Computer Application Fundamentals Exam Zone

The National Computer Proficiency Examination is a national computer proficiency examination system approved by the former National Education Commission and sponsored by the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education. It is oriented to the society and is used to test the computer application knowledge and skills of non-computer major candidates. The NCRE exam adopts the form of a unified nationwide examination. Examinations for all subjects are held twice a year. Typically the exam lasts for 5 days on the penultimate Saturday in March and the penultimate Saturday in September. Candidates are not restricted by age, occupation, academic background and other backgrounds. Anyone can choose the corresponding level and subject based on their own learning situation and actual ability.
