The two-stroke input method (referred to as two-stroke, also known as Yin-Yang code, or two-stroke input method) is a Chinese input method invented by Chen Jinsong in 1992. The two-stroke input method is a sound-shape input method (phonetic-shape code) that uses the combination of pinyin initials and strokes (two strokes to take one key) to obtain codes. It is standardized, easy to learn, and fast. It is the first Chinese input method certified by the CESI Chinese Information Technology Product Certification Center, and is currently the only Chinese input method that has passed the review of the Ministry of Education and can be included in primary and secondary school textbooks.
