The traditional Chinese medicine physical fitness test is a physical fitness test based on the newly promulgated national physical standards - "Classification and Determination of Traditional Chinese Medicine Physical Fitness". The formulation of the standards for the "Classification and Determination of Traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution" was officially launched in June 2006. It is under the supervision of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and completed by the Constitution Branch of the Chinese Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The standard is divided into 5 parts: scope, terms and definitions, 9 basic classifications and characteristics of TCM constitution, determination of TCM constitution classification, and appendix (TCM constitution classification and determination table). Traditional Chinese medicine physique scholars have classified the human body's constitution based on the human body's morphological structure, physiological function, psychological characteristics and reaction state, and formulated the TCM constitution table and the "TCM constitution classification and determination" standards. This standard applies multi-disciplinary methods such as TCM constitution, genetics, epidemiology, psychometrics, mathematical statistics, etc. It was established after many discussions and demonstrations by TCM constitution experts, clinical experts, and epidemiology experts. 21,948 epidemiological surveys were conducted nationwide, showing good adaptability and feasibility.
