Special Topics on Thousand Family Poems

"Poems of Thousands of Families" is a combination of "Reeding Poems of Thousand Families" (both seven-character rhymed poems) by Xie Fangde of Song Dynasty and "Five-character Poems of Thousand Families" selected by Wang Xiang of Ming Dynasty. It is an anthology of enlightenment poems from the old days of our country. Because most of the poems selected in it are famous poems from the Tang and Song Dynasties, they are easy to learn and understand, and have various themes: landscapes and pastoral, farewell to friends, homesickness and nostalgia for people, mourning the past and regretting the present, chanting objects and paintings, and serving banquets. They widely reflect the social reality of the Tang and Song Dynasties, so they are widely circulated among the people and have a profound influence. The book has a total of 22 volumes and contains 1281 poems, all of which are rhymed poems and quatrains.
