Windows 10 Technical Preview Development Tools

Microsoft today released development tools for developers for the Windows Universal Application Platform. If you are a developer and have joined Windows Insider, you can follow the steps below to install and use the Win10 Technology Preview development tools and test universal applications.

How to use

· Register to join the Windows Insider program (if not already registered)

· Install or upgrade to the latest Windows 10 Technical Preview to provide the best support for Windows Universal Application Platform development

· Run "Windows Update" to check for the latest updates

· Uninstall Visual Studio 2015 CTP5 and earlier versions

·Installation tools: including Visual Studio 2015 CTP6 and Windows 10 Technology Preview development tools. The development tools include the SDK necessary for developing applications for the Windows Universal Application Platform (must download the .iso file, right-click the local copy and select "Install")

Developers can download the development tools through the link below. What you need to know is that this is only the first version of the SDK, so it will not be perfect. Developers can start developing universal apps now to prepare for the official release of Windows 10 this summer.
