How to use

1. Import panoramic video
Open the panoramic video in insv or mp4 format in Insta360 Studio (or directly drag the panoramic video into it);

2. Enter screen recording mode
As shown in the figure, switch "Panorama Playback" to "Screen Recording Production";

3. Select the video resolution you want to export

There are video resolutions of 1920*1080 (16:9), 1280*720 (16:9), and 640*480 (4:3) respectively;

In the custom mode, you can enter the video length and width in the range of 240~1920, and the value must be a multiple of 8.

4. Crop the desired video range

Select the timeline control button at the bottom left of the timeline to zoom in or out of the timeline;

By moving the "border lines" on both sides, you can cut out the desired time range;
5. Screen recording production
In the screen recording production mode, select key frames to carry the screen data at a certain moment;
The screen recording function is implemented by making a specific picture appear at a specific time, so we need to select the pictures at some moments, that is, take the key frames, and the picture seen at the key frame moment is the picture after exporting the screen recording;
step01. Pause the playback, select the moment, right-click the mouse to add a keyframe or directly click the "Keyframe" button to select a keyframe;

step02. Adjust the picture to the desired picture (for example, the subject of the picture is a person or building, the picture changes to asteroid mode, etc.), record the picture information at this moment, that is, the exported video will appear at this point in time with the key frame picture;

step03. If you need to adjust the picture accurately, you can select the keyframe and modify the data in the keyframe parameter box in the lower left corner; (you can modify the time, horizontal angle, vertical angle, viewing angle, and distance)

step04. You can select multiple keyframes on the progress bar. There needs to be at least 1S interval between keyframes. If you are not satisfied with the keyframe position, you can select it and modify the time parameter in the parameter box in the lower left corner. You can right-click to delete it. The required keyframe, or press delete to delete the keyframe;

6. Adjust transition effects
Points will be connected to form a line segment. Click to select a line segment to select the transition method. Modify the transition method from keyframe to keyframe in the "Transition Effect" on the lower left. The default selection is "Uniform Change" ;

Of course, if you want to cut the angle instantly and don't want the transition effect, just set the transition effect to "None";

During the editing process, you can see transition effects as the video plays;
7. Preview the export effect
After editing the video, click "Preview" to switch to preview mode. You can preview the exported effect in the playback window. If you are not satisfied, you can also click "Return to Edit" to switch back to editing mode.
Finally, select the video quality and export path you want to export, click "Export" to export the video in mp4 format at the video resolution you set;

congratulations! At this point, the video recording is basically completed!
