ADIsimPLL (adi’s simulation software)

ADIsimPLL software is ADI's PLL simulation tool. It is the latest version in 2017 and contains a very comprehensive chip. It has professional loop filter design functions. You can design the circuit according to the wizard. It comes with the ADIsimPLL manual after installation. Download it if you need it!

Basic introduction

ADIsimPLL is a free simulation tool released by ADI, aiming to help Chinese RF system designers reduce development risks, speed up product development cycles, and shorten the technology gap with leading foreign RF design manufacturers. The latest ADIsimPLL version is fully compatible with previous versions and eliminates time-consuming duplication of efforts in the PLL/synthesizer development process, ensuring faster time to market. Analog Devices has optimized its ADF4xxx series of synthesizers for use in numerous applications including: wireless base stations, LANs, mobile phones and PDAs, broadband wireless access, industrial, instrumentation and test equipment, satellites, sonar, CATV and more.
Analog Devices' ADIsimPLL design tool supports the company's latest PLL synthesizers, including the highly integrated ADF4350, ADF9010, ADF4360-9 and ADF4157. Additionally, it features a new capability to simulate fractional-N spurious estimates. It also allows users to adjust parameters to set spurs based on different loop filters, allowing RF designers to add their measurement criteria to better refine spurs in the system. ADIsimPLL version 3.1 has further enhanced the device library, including a new VCO library and improvements to the original device library. It also features a new loop filter topology and improvements to the chip selection algorithm and power-up simulation.
