      How to display the Cisco Packet Tracerport?

Step 1: First, after downloading and installing the Cisco Packet Tracer software on this site, we open the main interface of the software, click on the options in the interface, and then click on preferences in the drop-down options to enter the interface.

Step 2: After entering the preferences interface, we check the always show port labels option in the interface tab. After the check is completed, we can close the preferences setting interface.

Step 3: Return to the topology map interface and the user can see that the link port is marked with a port number.

Cisco Simulator (Cisco Packet Tracer) installation steps

1. First download the Cisco Packet Tracer software package from this site. After the download is completed, you will get the compressed package in zip format. Right-click the compressed package and select to extract it to the current folder to get the 32-bit and 64-bit installation files. Users select according to their computer operating system and double-click to run to enter the software installation interface. We click Next to continue the installation.

​ ​ 2. Enter the Cisco Packet Tracer usage agreement interface. We first click the I accept the agreement option in the lower left corner of the interface, and then click Next to proceed to the next step.

​​ 3. Enter the Cisco Packet Tracer software installation location selection interface. We can click Next directly. The software will be installed to the system C drive by default. Or click Browse, select the appropriate installation location, and then click Next to proceed to the next step.

​​ 4. Enter the Cisco Packet Tracer software preparation interface. We click the Install option at the bottom of the interface to start the installation.

5. After the installation of Cisco Packet Tracer software is completed, the interface in the picture below indicates that it has been successfully installed on the computer. Click the Finish option at the bottom of the interface to close the installation interface and open the software.
