Anderguard installation steps

1. Download the installation package of Ander Guard PC version from Huajun Software Park. After unzipping, double-click the exe program to enter the installation wizard and click Next

2. Read the license agreement and click I accept

3. Select the components you want to install and click Next

4. Click "Browse" to select the installation folder. Generally, it is installed on the C drive of the computer by default. It is recommended to install on the D drive. Click Install.

5. Anderguard is being installed, please wait patiently.

6. The installation of Ander Guard is completed, click Finish to exit the installation wizard.

Anderguard Instructions for Use

1. Regarding the statistical information of encrypted files, there is a problem with information other than purchased applications.

Explanation: Due to office-type software, some applications have a conforming structure. During the operation, the associated files, such as XML, will be encrypted. When we perform measurement configuration, we need to associate the xml type file, so when using word file encryption, the xml file will also be encrypted.

2. The software disappears from the taskbar

Answer: When the software exits abnormally under certain objective conditions of the system, the user can click on our software icon on the desktop to reopen our application software.

3. The file is garbled when opened.

Explanation: As shown in the figure below

Usually the file has been encrypted, but the security management platform has not assigned the user permission to use this application, or even the client software has not successfully logged in. Please contact the administrator, or check whether the account is logged in yourself. If you are logged in, please check whether you have permission to use the application. The operation method is as follows: Open the home page of the client software, as shown in the figure below:

When you open a file, check whether the corresponding software icon is gray. If the icon is gray, it means that this user account does not have permission to use the software and needs to contact the administrator for configuration.

4. The encryption icon does not display

Because the operating system has a limit on the number of file icons displayed. As well as desktop refresh problems, the icons will not be refreshed immediately. Please right-click the desktop and select the "Refresh" icon, or left-click the desktop and press the F5 shortcut key to refresh the desktop. See the instructions again. The file icon will be refreshed. As shown below:

5. If the customer stops paying, will the document be automatically decrypted? Or what method is required to decrypt it? First, we will provide a reminder for authorization expiration. Before the expiration date, users can configure and issue a full decryption policy to complete the decryption of the file. We will immediately Automatic decryption will not be performed upon expiration, which may cause users to forget to renew, which may lead to leakage issues. Secondly, after our platform expires, customer data will still be retained for 30 days to ensure that users have a buffer period. At the same time, the platform will send reminder emails to users and users can contact customer service staff and we will open

6. Will our document encryption damage the file? How can we ensure that the file content will not be destroyed after the file is encrypted? The first product will technically ensure that damage is avoided during the encryption and decryption process. The second product will only back up once a day at most and in When the file is opened for the first time, the file to be backed up is checked. If the current file size is different from the backed up file size, the backup will be performed. If the current file size is the same as the backed up file size, the backup will not be performed. The purpose of this is to ensure that at least one backup file is good. The backed up files can be found in "Backup Tool". As shown below:

7. If an encrypted document is edited and saved offline, will the file still be encrypted? After going offline, when the document is open, it will be saved encrypted, but it cannot be opened again.

8. During the use of cloud box files, if a file is opened outside the cloud box, it will be blocked by the watermark of the file opened inside the cloud box. This can be done by closing the cloud box reader and opening the file in the cloud box (or minimizing it). At this time, the watermark of the file opened outside the cloud box will disappear. This solves the problem of watermarks being displayed in the file window outside the cloud box. As shown below:

9. Regarding permission issues during the installation and use of AndeGuard and Cloud Box Reader. During use of the reader, files need to be protected, so the file reading program needs to be controlled, which will inevitably require the use of system administrators. role, so when a user is using the system, the currently logged-in system account has a non-system administrator role, which will result in the inability to use it. Please switch the current user to an administrator account, or assign administrator role permissions to the current account. As shown in the picture below, when you open the cloud box reader in win10 system, the following window will pop up:

If the above situation occurs, please enter the administrator account password to use it. Otherwise, please switch to the administrator account before use. For example, in the application configuration and copy control configuration, if the system's own browser is set as a process exception, then the exception setting will take effect at this time. However, because the decryption process has higher permissions, when using the browser at this time, it needs to be run with official permissions. This browser can decrypt normally. Usually, right-click and "run with administrator privileges" is used to start the browser. At this time, an exceptional decryption effect can be achieved.

10. Regarding the problem of opening PDF files, PDF can be opened only after canceling the protection mode, as shown in the figure below:

As shown in the picture above, during manual encryption, if the file has protected mode turned on, Adobe Reader will pop up a content prompt as shown in the picture. At this time, the user can choose the first two of the three options to ensure our security program. Works properly, thereby protecting the security of PDF files.

11. File backup tool. Files in the backup path cannot be opened, but they can be opened by copying them to other folders.
