Quick start has become a typical application that distinguishes computer novices from veterans

ALTRunYou can add shortcut keys by right-clicking and sending to. And it has some interesting ways to play: adjust the volume, start multiple programs with one click, search by word (after copying the word, use the shortcut key to open the translation page), integrate Everything search (this is amazing) and other more complex integrated application examples.

How to use

1. Press the hotkey to display the form (the default hotkey is Alt+R)
2. Enter the shortcut keyword and press Enter to execute the shortcut

After the hotkey calls out the main interface of the software, the cursor will automatically be positioned at the front of the input box in the upper left corner of the interface. You can enter English letters to filter the filter list. The light gray text displayed at the rear right of the input box is an intelligent random operation prompt.

A shortcut item list is displayed in a large frame with a white background in the middle of the interface. The left half with a number in front of it is the shortcut item, and the right half is the description name corresponding to each one. Both can be customized according to personal preferences.

The command box at the bottom of the main interface displays the command line of the current shortcut project. This box can be hidden.

Many ways to execute shortcut items

If a worker wants to do his job well, he must first sharpen his tools. The first step is to set your favorite and convenient hotkeys. Right-click on the cute star icon of ALTRun in the system tray area and select Configuration in the menu. Then call out the configuration interface and select the Hotkeys tab.

(One of the default hotkeys in the dual hotkey setting tab page in the configuration, ALT+R, is also the origin of the name of the ALTRun software)

ALTRun uniquely supports the main hotkey and the auxiliary hotkey, which are dual hotkeys that work in parallel and are a unique method of calling in and out. Friends who like to start programs with one hand are in luck! According to my experience, it is recommended to change the main hotkey to Alt+X, and set the secondary hotkey to ~ key (the one under the Esc key in the upper left corner of the keyboard). Basically, you can use only one left hand to handle any program, document, Quick launch of directories and web pages.

OK, now press the ~ key (or the self-set primary and auxiliary hotkeys) to immediately call out the main interface (if you press the self-set primary and auxiliary hotkeys again, the main interface will be hidden).

The main interface list displayed in front of you supports multiple ways to execute shortcut items:

1. Use the space bar or the enter key to execute the shortcut item in the current row (pressing the space bar is much more convenient, comfortable and comfortable than the enter key when controlling with one hand with your left hand).
2. Execute the shortcut item by pressing the number keys. The number keys 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0, 0 represents 10, respectively start the corresponding first to tenth menu list items (Friends who like the number key startup style, please Be careful not to add numbers to the shortcut items to avoid inconvenience. Friends who don’t like the number key style can ignore it). In addition, the first item can also be started by directly pressing the space bar or the Enter key, the second item can also be started by pressing the : key, and the third item can also be started by pressing the " key.
3. Follow the Alt+number keys or Ctrl+number keys indicated in the prompt area to quickly launch the shortcut item.
4. Double-click the left mouse button to start the shortcut item.
5. Press the middle mouse button anywhere in the main interface window to start the shortcut item for the row where the guide is located.
6. We specially recommend a super simple execution method that requires setting up the implementation. Just check the last item in the configuration and execute it immediately (illustration at the end of the paragraph). After tapping the letter to filter, the only remaining item will be automatically executed. Match shortcuts (no need to press space bar or enter key to start).

Use one-finger hotkey (~ key) to call out the main interface, and flick your finger to any number key to start any one of the ten programs. The whole process only requires two clicks and takes about 0.5 seconds. It is extremely fast and as fast as lightning. Regarding how to set up the shortcut items you like so that they appear in the default list of the first ten items that are displayed first after the hotkey is called and can be quickly started by the numeric keys, please refer to the third point in Appendix A below.

It is a great thing to support numeric key startup. Among the visual list quick startup software, the only one that can compare with ALTRun in this regard is Find and Run Robot. Unfortunately, Find and Run Robot's resource usage remains high, its response is slow, and it is lackluster. If you don’t care much about resource usage but focus on functional scalability, Find and Run Robot with rich plug-ins is a good choice.

Friends who don't like the startup style of numeric keys are recommended to use the Chinese Pinyin Quanpin (easy to remember) to set shortcut items. Usually, you can hit the target directly by typing three or two letters. If he misses, there will be only two options left to choose from, and the rest will be extremely simple.

If you think it's not enough, there is also the simplest way to activate shortcut items. As long as you type one or two English letters, you don't even need to press the space bar or enter key to automatically execute the remaining one item. Match! It is rare, beyond imagination, it can be accomplished in one go, and it stands out from the crowd. It is also considered to be the leader among the current quick startup software! The setting method is shown in the diagram below.

2.2 Quick and convenient positioning method

The ALTRun main interface list supports a variety of positioning methods: the up and down arrow keys move the items before and after the position; the Tab key rotates to locate the next shortcut item (press the Shift+Tab key to display the previous shortcut item); the most interesting thing is that it supports mouse wheel sliding Locate the project. All three can be repeated over and over again!

Keyboard experts will probably choose the up and down arrow keys to move the position or the Tab key, but I think it is also very refreshing to use the mouse wheel sometimes, because the wheel positioning is faster and requires the least effort. After the positioning is completed, press the space bar or click the mouse. Middle-click the wheel to activate shortcut items. Left-hand keyboard, right-hand mouse, left and right, complement each other.
