TED speech collection English learning software

TED speech collection English learning software is an English learning software that uses TED speech videos and Chinese and English subtitles as teaching materials. It is efficient, effective, easy and enjoyable. By July 2103, there were more than 1,400 high-definition MP4 videos.

For the convenience of users, this software does not require installation. You can use it by clicking on the TEDLearner.exe file after decompressing it.

The software mainly has the following functions:

1. Repeat function. Each sentence can be repeated, or any paragraph can be specified for repetition. The number of repetitions can be set.

2. Click to read function. Wherever you click, you read.

3. Dictionary function. Double-click the word to call the dictionary to look up the word, and select the sentence to call the online translation.

The local dictionary has about 120,000 words. You can choose Baidu or Google as an online dictionary.

4. English-Chinese comparison. The one-to-one correspondence between English and Chinese sentences makes it easy to browse.

5. New word management. You can add new words to the vocabulary book for management.

6. English-Chinese translation. In English mode, place the cursor on a sentence to display the corresponding Chinese for translation practice.

7. Skin changing function. There are multiple sets of interfaces that can be switched freely. Text background color, font size and color can be freely selected.

8. Skip whitespace. You can set it to skip the parts without dialogue and only play the parts with dialogue, which greatly improves learning efficiency.

9. Ability to mark key vocabulary words in speeches, greatly improving learning efficiency.

10. Test questions can be automatically generated according to the level set by the user to detect learning status.
