SecureCRT installation tutorial
1. Download the SecureCRT software package named "SecureCRT4768.zip" from Huajun Software Park. After decompressing the compressed package, you will get two .exe applications. We need to decide which one to choose based on the system installed on the computer. If it is a 32-bit system, open the x86 installer; if it is a 64-bit system, open the x64 installer.
2. Some friends may not know how to check the system installed on the computer. We use the right mouse button to click "My Computer" on the desktop ("This Computer" in win10 system), and click to open "Properties" in the right-click menu. Then you can see the currently used operating system version in the "System Type" entry under "System".
3. Enter the SecureCRT installation wizard, give a brief introduction to the SecureCRT software, and then click "Next" below to proceed to the next step. If you want to exit the installation, just click "Cancel".
4. Read the license agreement and confirm that it is correct. Use the left button of the mouse to select "I accept the terms in the license agreement" to express your agreement, and then click "Next" below to proceed to the next step.
5. Select the data to be imported, generally select "Common profile (general data)" instead of "Personal profile (personal data)", and then click "Next" to proceed to the next step. If you need to read the agreement again, click "Back".
6. In this interface, users need to select the installation type, including "Complete (full version)" and "Custom (custom)". Generally, users can select "Complete" and then click "Next" below. If you need to reset, click "Back"
7. Choose whether to create SecureCRT’s start menu folder (Create a program group for SecureCRT) and desktop shortcut (Add a desktop shortcut for SecureCRT). After selecting, click “Next” below.
8. In this step, all the previously set contents will be displayed. After confirming that the installation information is correct, click "Install" below to start the installation.
9. Wait for SecureCRT to be installed. This process takes about 3 minutes.
10. After the installation is completed, it will automatically jump to the installation completion interface. The user can choose whether to read the software introduction (View Readme now?), update record (View History now?) and software announcements (Subscribe to Product Announcements?) as needed. After the selection is completed, click "Finish" below to end the installation process.

Comparison of puTTY and SecureCRT
Putty does not support automatic login to Linux, but SecureCRT supports automatic login to Linux. This difference shows that Putty is more secure and SecureCRT is more convenient.
Putty does not support logging in to multiple linux at the same time. SecureCRT can log in to one linux in each tab page.
The above two differences make SecureCRT more suitable for system administrators.
