Microsoft ISA Server 2006

ISA Server 2006 secures access to enterprise applications over the Internet by pre-authenticating users before they gain access to a distribution server, inspecting the statefulness of encrypted traffic at the application layer, and providing automated distribution tools. In addition, ISA Server 2006 provides HTTP compression, content caching (including software updates), and integrated application layer filtering, allowing you to securely expand your corporate network. ISA Server 2006's interactive proxy firewall architecture, deep content inspection, granular policies, detailed alerts, and monitoring capabilities allow you to manage and protect your network.

Supported operating systems: Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1
• Personal computer with a Pentium III-compatible CPU with a 733 MHz or faster processor.
• Microsoft Windows Server™ 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1) operating system.
• 512 MB RAM.
• 150 MB of free hard drive space. This does not include hard drive space to be used for caching.
• A network interface card compatible with the computer's operating system to communicate with the internal network.
• Each network connected to an ISA Server computer requires an additional network interface card.
• A native hard disk partition formatted using the NTFS file system.

Warning: Do not install ISA Server 2006 Standard Edition on a multiprocessor computer with more than four processors.
