ZWCAD FAQ

How to import/export DWG files?

Import DWG:

Open DWG files directly (ZWCAD is compatible with AutoCAD 2000-2023 format by default).

If you encounter garbled characters, check the font mapping settings in "Options" → "File" → "Text Editor".

Export DWG:

Use "Save As" to select the DWG format and support setting version compatibility (such as R14/2000/2004, etc.).

Check "Keep layers and line types" when exporting to maintain the drawing structure.
