KStars software features

KStars is designed to give learners a better understanding of celestial objects in the night sky and where they move. Detailed maps show how objects interact and influence each other. The tool also allows users to observe the night sky from different locations on Earth on the same date.

Right-click on any celestial body to display relevant information about the celestial body, as well as other resources and pictures.

KStars installation steps

​​ 1. Download the latest version of KStars installation package from Huajun Software Park. After unzipping, double-click the "exe" file to enter the installation wizard and click Next

​ ​ 2. Select the installation user and click Next

​ ​ 3. Click "Browse" to select the installation location. Generally, it defaults to C drive. It is recommended to install on D drive. Click Next.

​ 4. Click to select the Start menu folder and click Install to install
