Arctime software installation
1. Download and unzip
After decompression, it is recommended to drag “ArcTime.app” to the “Applications” directory
2. Install the Java runtime environment
ArcTime is a software developed based on Java, so a Java runtime environment must be installed to run it.
In Mac systems, Arctime can only run under Java 6 provided by Apple. Incompatible with the Java runtime environment released by Oracle.
Please follow this simple rule:
Double-click to run Arctime.app. If it can be opened successfully, it means that Java 6 has been installed on the system and there is no need to install it again.
Double-click to run Arctime.app. If it cannot be opened successfully, it means that the system has not installed Java 6 and needs to be installed manually.
3. Run Arctime
Double-click "ArcTime.app".
If a prompt such as "Unknown source or file corruption" is displayed, please enter the system preferences.
Open "Security & Privacy", in the "General" tab, set "Allow apps downloaded from" to "Any Source".
*Update Arctime: Just unzip and overwrite the old version, no need to install Java again.
