Network card configuration instructions:

After the network card is installed, the client application will run automatically. At the same time, a shortcut icon for the wireless network card client application will appear on the desktop. Double-click the icon to run the client application. The Mercury client application will provide some simple and comprehensive tools, including: displaying current status information, setting the WPS function of the network card, searching for and connecting wireless network devices in the environment, editing and managing configuration files, and selecting client applications for the network card. procedures and working modes, etc. The following sections will detail these capabilities using Windows 7 as an example.

Status: Click the status button as shown in the figure below, and information related to the network card connection status will appear, including configuration file name, network name, network type, speed, channel, password type, AP MAC, wireless mode, IP address, signal strength, etc. No setup is required.

WPS If you want to quickly access the wireless network, click the WPS button and there will be three methods for you to choose from.

Note: The WPS function only takes effect when the network card and the wireless router or AP you want to connect support the WPS or QSS function; otherwise, the network card will not be able to connect.

1. WPS setting method 1 1) Select the "Press the access point or wireless router button" item in Figure 3-2, and click the connect button. The following picture will appear, showing that the network card is connecting to the wireless router or AP.

2) Click the WPS or QSS button on the wireless router or AP. When the wireless router or AP is successfully searched and connected, the interface is displayed as shown below, click Confirm to complete the settings.

3) After the connection is successful, the network card will automatically create a configuration file (appearing in the configuration file list as shown below) and connect to the wireless router or AP.

2. WPS setting method two

1) Select the item "Enter the PIN of the access point or wireless router" (as shown below), and then enter the 8-digit PIN code of the wireless router or AP in the PIN space (i.e. Access Point PIN, please see the bottom of the wireless router or AP sticker), click the Connect button.
